Alexander Romanov Davidov (January 25, 1937, Moscow - November 20, 2012, ibid.) - Soviet and Russian animator and animator, winner of the "Nika" award.

Among his most famous works are “Once - the peas, two - the peas ...”, “The Return of the Prodigal Parrot (second edition)” and others.

Alexander Davydov was born in Moscow on January 25, 1937 in the family of the famous animator Roman Davydov.

From 1986 to 1988, Davydov participated in the film satirical magazine “Wick” as a director.

In 1988, for "The Return of the Prodigal Parrot", Alexander Romanovich was awarded the national prize of the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR - "Nika", becoming the first multiplier winner of this award.

Davydov’s latest work was the 2005 Keshi Parrot New Adventure cartoon.
